Tessellate Solo Show | WIEDEN+KENNEDY AMS —  2016

As my first solo show, in Amsterdam at W+K, TESSELLATE is kind of a reflection of how i see my paintings in this stage of my life.

Over the last years i’ve been looking for the perfect balance between two different worlds. A view of the symbolic relationship between geometry composition and the human nature. For that, i based my composition on a description given by Steven Schwartzman, when he says "the geometric meaning of the word tessellate is to cover a plan with pattern in such a way as to leave no region uncovered."

In this show, we can find my own way of TESSELLATE. Here everything is part of the whole composition, looking for that perfect balance which i will probably never find.
